Skills

James has counting skills and alphabet skills. I'll post videographic evidence as soon as it exists. We can do a kind of call and response odd-evens counting to ten. Dan or I start with "one," James says "two" and so on. Pretty fun. We haven't gotten him to do the odds yet.

For the alphabet, if I say, "James, let's do the alphabet," he says "A." Then he'll repeat letters after me, but also knows a lot of them. For instance, when I get to "L," he'll say "M" and often even "N, O, P" as well! I think his favorite letter is "W" which he pronounces quite cutely. Oh, and after "Z" he says "A."
